Project manager - Process chemical engineer

STS Canada is an engineering consulting group specializing in separation and filtration processes. Our team brings together recognized experts in separation processes for the management, optimization, and development of new filtration and separation technologies applied to heavy industries and manufacturing. We operate in industrial sectors such as pulp and paper, primary metal processing, chemicals, wood processing, and ore concentration.


We are looking for a project manager to :

  • Oversee the execution of work at client sites and our laboratory.
  • Ensure that client needs and expectations are fully integrated.
  • Monitor allocated budgets and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with STS Canada partners and clients.
  • Provide technical follow-up on the development of concepts and procedures.
  • Supervise the technical activities required for the implementation of concepts and procedures.
  • Provide clients with data, calculations, concept drawings, and detailed estimates.
  • Support the business development lead in project evaluation with clients.
  • Assist the General Manager in implementing strategies, procedures, and internal structures at STS Canada.

Requirements:

  • University degree such as: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3 to 10 years of project management experience in a plant.
  • Experience in managing environmental projects in heavy industry (gas / liquid treatment).

Languages requested:

  • French: very good knowledge.
  • English: very good knowledge.
